Fleet Tire Technician

Position Overview:
As a Fleet Tire Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining tires for our diverse fleet of trucks and equipment. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a proactive approach to keeping our fleet in top condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, and proper inflation.
- Perform tire repairs, replacements, and rotations as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of tire inventory and service.
- Ensure all tire work complies with safety and operational standards.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to address fleet needs promptly.
Qualifications:
- Experience with tire maintenance and repair (preferred).
- Familiarity with various tire sizes and equipment (light and heavy-duty vehicles).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Diesel Mechanic (Second Shift)
Non-Exempt, No Supervisory Responsibilities

The Diesel Mechanic will perform maintenance and repair to keep the Lester Brothers fleet of trucks running. This job will include, but will not be limited to, safely performing essential services in trucks, trailers, and equipment, replacing brakes, and repairing lights, among other
mechanical jobs. Pay is based on experience level.
Responsibilities:
- Service, repair, adjust, and test all engines, motors, moving parts, and equipment.
- Inspect equipment or materials to identify the cause of problems or defects.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what maintenance is needed.
- Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment.
- Raise trucks, heavy parts, or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists.
- Recondition and replace parts, pistons, bearings, gears, and valves.
- Troubleshoot operation problems and determine plan of action to remedy problems.
- Install equipment, etc., to meet specifications.
- Complete all necessary paperwork as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience with diesel engines and air brakes
- 3+ years working as a diesel mechanic preferred
- Clean driving record preferred
- Certifications a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and balancing
- Sitting, standing, and walking
- Must be able to lift/maneuver 50 or more lbs. unassisted
